Clayton State University Regional Tournament- December 2006

Experience: We didn't make it to state this time, but we'll try again next year. We did better than last year, and maybe we'll make it to state next year! We learned alot from this tournament including how to NXTs performed.

Knights Hall FLL Scrimmage at Pace Academy- October 2006

Experience: Gear Geeks and RoboKnights joined to sponsor a scrimmage for 10 FLL teams to practice. Mischa Holt organized and ran the scrimmage. It was a great opportunity for us to meet other teams and test our skills and progress. We also had the opportunity to give technical and research presentations to judges. That was a great experience. The RoboKnights sold bottled water and snacks on the honor system. The proceeds went to aid a school in Africa that one of our French teachers had worked with last summer. Several teams anonymously donated money so we were able to give $123.00 to the school That will pay for three students' tuition, desk, books, and uniforms for a year. Thanks fellow GA FLL teams!

Wheeler High School FLL Workshop - September 2006

Experience: Five RoboKnights and thier coach attended the excellent FLL Challenge workshop sponsored by Wheeler's Circuit Runners FIRST team. We learned some possible strategies to use on the Nano challenges and some sources for our research projects. We also ate great pizza and had plenty of fun.

FLL World Festival/Championship - Atlanta - April 2005

Experience: Our MS headmaster was very generous and let us take the entire afternoon off to attend. We went to cheer Robotik (Georgia's #1 team) and Bob, their robot - and to see the FIRST and VEX teams in action and not to mention seeing the pit and all the stands set up at the World Congress Center. It was awesome!

GA Tech State Championship Tournament 2005

Experience:

Wheeler High School Regional Tournament 2005

Experience: Our first tournament. It was exciting, hectic, and fun. We were thirlled to be selected to go to State. Overall, we had a good time. It was our rookie competition, and we gave it our all, and we elated at the results!
